Chris Allen is from Las Vegas, NV. "I used to doodle as a child but was never encouraged. I learned recently since I have been in prison and have painted every day for the last 5 years. I draw my inspiration from Sean Scully for the "details-within-the-details" style he uses. There is a base level of values I establish and then branch out with my intuition for the finishing touches. If my art sells I will use the funds to buy more supplies because I am moving and will be starting from zero."
