David Van Auken is from Colorado Springs, Colorado. "I have been doing this type of art since grade school. My mother (now deceased) gave me my inspiration to draw the Colorado mountains one afternoon. If my art sells I will use the money to first, purchase main essential CDOC items (i.e. TV, coffee pot, etc.) and to save up for my parole release. One thing I want you to know is that I'm not the best "articulate" person, but my art is mostly a meditative hobby for myself."
