Arizona-based painter, Miranda Gamel, creates fantastical worlds with tigers and women, working in oil paint, as well as aerosols and acrylic paints. Her work explores themes of self-discovery and empowerment through her strong imagery and vibrant colors. After graduating from a fine arts program, Miranda focused on honing her oil painting skills, while also mastering the combined use of aerosols and acrylics. Her process allows for the subject to emerge and transform, drawing a direct parallel to our journey through life. Miranda has exhibited widely in her home state of Arizona, including the Arizona Fine Art Expo. Miranda’s newest series “Wild West” is now on display at Anticus Fine Art in Scottsdale, Arizona.
