Galina is a self-taught artist living in Wai'anae, Hawai'i. She enjoys painting in a realistic style so that the canvas scenes evoke emotions that allow her soul to travel.Galina has attracted an international following for her ability to expertly capture warmth, passion and pleasure in her artwork. She is best known for her attention to detail and vibrant use of light and color to capture the awe inspiring beauty of Hawaiian nature. Her passion for the Hawaiian natural world is evident in every dreamlike work art she creates. Galina absorbs healing energy from nature and transposes it to her paintings. Painting for Galina is like dreaming, only on canvas.Her favorite subjects include seascapes, flowers and landscapes. She studied multiple techniques around the world, combining everything from traditional painting to 3d sculpting to from her own unique style. Her paintings convey a pleasant, calm joy of life. Galina has a PhD in chemistry and she taught math for 22 years in public school. She really enjoys painting, paddle boarding, skiing and travel. She has two sons and two loving dogs.
