Kara is a talented artist, from the Cayman Islands, where inspiration is abundant in the local flora, fauna, and breathtaking ocean views.With a passion for art, she began her career as a decorative artist back in 1997; choosing to specialize in hand-painted glassware and other functional are pieces.Over the years her portfolio grew to include even more fun and magnificent works of art, as she explored new artistic directions.With a loaded paintbrush, she tackled other artistic genres, creating vivid fine art paintings, eye-catching chalkboard signs and transforming plain walls and large windows with captivating murals. She describes her style as whimsical impressionistic and finds that ocean scenes are her absolute favorite.Her fine art paintings can be viewed at the Ritz Gallery and her decorative art pieces can be viewed at the 3 Girls & A Kiln Studio (George Town, Grand Cayman) starting in July 2022.
