Born in Dinard in Bretagne (France) lived in Paris for 25 years, currently living in Camargue in southern France. His whole life has been devoted to the arts. He studied Fine Arts in Rennes and Paris, as well as studies with Italian, Flemish and German masters. He was a student of the painter Yves Brayer and the Hungarian painter Paul Maîk, before obtaining his Master's degree in plastic art. In 1978, he met Grand Master Zao Wou Ki at the Musée Galliera in Paris, and then exhibited together at the "Salon des Surindépendants" at the Musée du Luxembourg in 1978. Between 1977 and 1990, he focused on fantastic themes, symbolists and surrealists. In 1985, he was invited by Salvador Dali, at the Domaine de Port-Lligat (Cadaqués, Spain) with Hans Rudolf Giger. The Grand Master Dali then teached him the laying of gold leaves on frame. His works have been appreciated at many international exhibitions, including Shanghai, Germany, Canada, Egypt, Holland, France and several other countries. His current paintings are mainly composed of abstract art and modern figurative art. He has also developed a unique technique by which he pours a molten metal directly onto the canvas. He has won more than thirty national and international awards. Appointed December 12, 2016, Honorary Member of the "NATIONAL ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS BRAZIL" in recognition of his contribution to Art and Culture by its President Mr. Edilson Barbosa. Being at the same time named "Important Public Personality" in Brazil (Prestigious Hall of Valuable Public Personalities). His works of art are part of several private collections around the world. He is the Founder-President of Mondial Art Academia, an association located in France, bringing together more than 400 international artists (58 countries) selected for the quality and richness of their work.
