Rami Sharkey is a New Orleans-based artist who works with acrylic paint. He was born in Calgary, Alberta in 1978. Rami’s work draws on the aesthetics of vintage comic books, corner stores, tire shops, and snowball stands. Sharkey's most recent paintings are a blend of abstractions and Pop Art. Most of his work is primarily on canvas and paper.
