Margaret Juul claims that nature is her Muse with the element of Water as her guide. She views the world with the lens of a shimmering prism- glowing with potentiality. The goal is to create art that connects; work which inspires, soothes, and heals.Juul incorporates irregular shapes which move around the canvas, reminiscent of the brilliant marine hues that convey water in 19th-century Japanese woodblock prints. Close inspection reveals rough, textured surfaces from the thick application of medium on linen- including oil, acrylic, ink, sand, pigments, and oil pastel, reiterating the earthly and organic nature of her subject. As a multifaceted artist, with a focus on painting, illustration, interior and textile design for more than two decades, Margaret has cultivated an extensive list of devoted supporters. Her work is displayed prominently in a wide variety of settings—from celebrity homes and corporate lobbies to commercial and hospitality sites internationally. The artist has exhibited internationally from San Diego to Boston and London to Beijing. In 2008-2011 she was selected as the American Artist Representative for an exhibition in Baghdad, Iraq.
