Josh Brown is an American artist working out of New York City. He is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art & Design and is now pursuing his lifelong passion for creating art, most notably through his paintings of animals. Josh’s bold minimalist style personifies the energy and attitude of his subjects, capturing joyful, magnetic characters and curiously subtle movement. He does this deftly with sculptural brush strokes and a refined palette knife in both oil and acrylic, incorporating speckling techniques and other interesting textural elements onto his canvases.
