Nunzio De Martino was born in Naples in 1967 where he obtained a diploma in photography. At the end of the 80s he moved to Milan where he began working as an assistant to some of the most famous fashion photographers: Helmut Newton, Albert Watson, William Garret, and then worked for about five years as assistant photographer of Gian Paolo Barbieri, with whom he also collaborated on the creation of two books. Having collaborated with major international companies such as Armani, Ermenegildo Zegna and magazines such as: Mondo Uomo, Rockstar, Superbe etc. in 2005, De Martino left the world of fashion photography and dedicated himself wholly to his own artistic path. He expanded his artistic horizons towards other forms of expression such as painting, sculpture, installation and video and debited his first solo exhibition the same year (2005).
