As a long time resident of Ajo, Charley Wolfe, and his wife Susie Wolfe have produced primitive Native art and weapons for over 30 years. While living in Colorado, they produced and sold various items at many venues across the state. In 1996, after retiring, they were fortunate to discover the community of Ajo. Relocating here, they soon opened a store with a focus on Native art. After several successful years, family obligations required them to return to Charley’s hometown of Gettysburg, PA. Two years later, able to leave the East, they resettled in Big Fork, MT. Being near the Flathead Indian Reservation provided an opportunity to again produce more Native American art and weaponry. Finally returning to Ajo permanently in 2006, they settled in and renewed old friendships. Sadly, Susie passed away in 2021. Charley has since renewed his production of weaponry, both offensive and defensive. These items are carefully constructed with the finest and most traditional items available. Every piece is inspired by and dedicated to the memory of his dear wife, Susie.
