Mary Calengor is an oil painter specializing in realism still life work. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Mary holds degrees in fine art and graphic design. In 2019, after pursuing a career in graphic design and marketing, Mary now works as a full time artist. Her non-traditional subject matter is filled with stories and provides a glimpse into the lives of others who have come before us. Although the subject matter is very meaningful to Calengor, it has a universal familiarity that allows her audience to relate to her work in their own personal way. Calengor’s work has been exhibited in several galleries across the country. Her work has been featured in several issues of American Art Collector Magazine, and she also has a social media site on instagram @marycalengor_fineart. Mary currently lives and works in Winona, Minnesota.
