ACRYLIC ON CANVAS ALBERTA, CANADA Jacqueline’s creative journey is shaped by her love of travel, history, and art. Born in Quebec and raised in Ontario, she spent summers exploring Europe and later studied and worked in England, immersing herself in new landscapes and history. She then moved to Toronto to study History, though her passion for the arts soon drew her back. She shifted focus to Museum and Art Gallery Management and Curation, while also experimenting with graphic design, digital illustration, and painting—discovering an artistic expression that would become her true calling. Now based in Jasper, Alberta, Jacqueline’s work is deeply influenced by the stunning wildlife and landscapes of the Rocky Mountains. Her vibrant paintings explore color and form, where structure meets the energy of nature. With bold, dynamic palettes and subtle color blending, her pieces invite the viewer to experience the beauty of the natural world in an unconventional way. Jacqueline’s style has evolved through influences like puzzles, stained glass, mosaics, mandalas, and textile patterns, resulting in compositions that are both rhythmic and geometric. Her work transcends traditional representation, aiming to capture the spirit and movement of the wildlife she portrays. Each piece is a unique fusion of graphic precision and fluid expression, where color and pattern work together to evoke the energy and personality of the animals she depicts.
