OIL ON CANVAS BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA Sharon Bott was born in Shanghai, China and graduated from Tongji University with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. She immigrated to Canada in 1999 and met her husband, Nicholas J. Bott, in Vancouver in 2000. She traveled extensively with him to many locations around Canada in search of beautiful landscapes- from the Salmon Glacier in far Northern BC to Waterton Lakes National Park in Southern AB; from Bamfield on the West Coast of Vancouver Island to Greenland in the east of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. They visited the Rocky Mountains numerous times throughout different seasons, sometimes taking a helicopter to access remote areas.They have also explored and followed the Northwest Passage around the Arctic Circle. Sharon worked with Nicholas as a team for over 20 years and was inspired by his creative spirit which led her to become an artist herself. She now resides in Langley, BC, Canada.
