Born and raised in the border region of Cd. Juárez, Mexico and El Paso, TX and grew up heavily influenced by comic books and nature documentaries. Attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as an illustrator from 2011-2015 and later began an apprenticeship as a furniture maker after graduating from college. Currently residing in Asheville, North Carolina where he's slowly shifted to the current sculpture series "chairismatic" The series focuses on a singular concept: the transformation of an existing object into a new form, separate from its previous function. The numerous sculptures from the series, each one an individual chair, were discarded and in need of repair. All of them distinct in their styles of construction and craftsmanship, allowed for the reuse of its features and shapes into an equally as diverse group of new forms.
