I want my paintings to give the impression of looking out into the distance but looking further than what's in front of you." -Brad Robertson Born and raised in coastal Alabama, Brad Robertson uses texture and color to achieve a sense of depth and endlessness. His paintings invite the viewer's eye to wander along endless abstract horizons, later releasing into bursts of bold color. With a B.F.A. in Graphic Arts, Robertson left painting behind to work full time in Atlanta as a graphic artist. Robertson found the big city life to be unfulfilling, and decided to head back to his coastal hometown that inspired him to the most. Since then, Robertson's award-winning artwork has been featured everywhere from book covers and TV shows to corporate and private collections across America. Robertson is based in Mobile, Alabama, where he is active in the community and maintains Robertson Gallery. He enjoys music and fishing while continuing to paint fine works.
