Kristin Zinkl’s passion for creating started with photography at a young age capturing everything from landscapes to corporate events. She came to appreciate the juxtaposition of natural and manmade materials brought together as a form of decoration through the art collection of a friend. After their unexpected passing she felt inspired to create – “It was a way for me to acknowledge our friendship and their role in igniting my creativity” says Zinkl of how she found her way to working with Swarovski cut crystals. More than ten years later she has honed her craft to a level of exacting, brilliant detail.
