I make art that smiles back. My watercolors are bold, expressive, and rooted in feeling—whether I’m painting a curious bison, a butterfly in flight, or a cowboy lit by a Sergio sunset. I’m a mood painter: color, tone, and movement lead the way. The subject is secondary to the energy of the piece.I work with a limited palette, layering vibrant pigments to push watercolor beyond tradition. Each painting is mounted on a custom wood panel and sealed with archival beeswax resin—a signature process that gives the work texture, permanence, and presence. No prints. No editions. Just original stories, told one at a time. Some of these watercolors are among the largest privately owned in the world, but size isn’t the goal—connection is. Whether it’s a longhorn with an attitude or a bear staring up at the moon, I want the work to look back at you with life, humor, and heart.
