Through painting, Colin shares the unexpected beauty found in the world around him. Painting is his way of translating these moments into something lasting and expressive.Raised in Baltimore, MD, Colin studied painting at the Rhode Island School of Design before transferring to Cooper Union, where he earned his degree. After spending three years immersed in New York City’s art scene, he moved to Maine in search of a more diverse and inspiring landscape. He's been able to fully dedicate himself to painting, working on-site to capture the unique atmosphere and shifting light of each scene. His process is rooted in direct observation, allowing him to uncover and share the quiet poetry of everyday moments.
