About the Artist: Budapest, my birthplace, is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Growing up there during Soviet occupation, I witnessed the scars left by WWII. People were deeply traumatized, and even as a child, I could sense their emotions through their gestures, speech, and posture. As an only child of divorced parents, I became an introvert and keen observer, fascinated by how people interacted and expressed themselves. Though I didn’t understand body language at the time, I instinctively began drawing figures, a habit that became both a passion and a form of self-expression.While I don't remember spoken words well, I possess an exceptional visual memory. When I paint, childhood and adult memories, along with observations of others, come to life. In my recent works, I focus more than ever on capturing the psychological and physical dynamics between subjects, hoping to provoke thoughtful engagement from viewers.
