Biography Giacomo was born in Agazzano (Piacenza) Italy in 1941. and lives in Rivergaro, in the province of Piacenza. He graduated with a degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano and has devoted himself to painting as a self-taught artist from 1970 onwards. Artist Statement The morphology and the definition of the space suggested by the environment and the landscape, both natural and contaminated by man, have always activated my attention, as an architect; the observation of the natural connotations of breath, light and the rhythm of things stimulates me to search for the beauty that is contained in them and becomes the spark to transfer them to the canvas. What interests me most is to try to create an atmosphere and arouse an emotion, leaving the last word to the viewer.
