Thomas Williams is a retired police lieutenant who has a compelling second career as a marine painter. He received his education at Miami Dade University, Montserrat College of Art, and the Gloucester Academy of Fine Art with John Terelak, Ted Georsmer, and Salvatore Gasso. Thomas' paintings capture the atmosphere of the sea in all its moods, and emphasize the relationship of lights and shadows created at particular times of the day.
