b. 1937 in England and was a major figure in Pop Art, eventually doing work for David Bowie and The Clash. He began teaching at Cal Arts 1997 when he moved to LA, where he lives today. His work is in the collection of MoMA, the Tate, London, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
