Stephanie’s interest in art began with printmaking in college, where she developed a deep appreciation for the process of carving into linoleum and wood. Later, she sold drawings and prints at The Artists Gallery of Flagstaff, focusing on its historic downtown as subjects. In 1999, she transitioned to painting landscapes and cityscapes from her travel photos as well as recreations of printed ads on canvas, wood panel, and glass. She uses mixed acrylic media, markers, and collaged newspaper clippings from the locations depicted. Wood pieces are also textured by carving into the mixed media layers. Stephanie joined Art One in 2007.
