I was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1985 and have lived here for most of my life. It was at a young age that I started to develop a passion for visual art and I decided to begin drawing and painting. The high school I attended was small and gave little attention to the arts which helped to instill in me an ability to be self motivated with my art and to be more creative because of my limitations. I attended Glendale Community College receiving an Associate in Arts degree and from there moved on to Arizona State as a painting major early in 2006. In late 2007 I left ASU and the school of art. During this time I began to experiment with wood and small sculpture. In the spring of 2013 I returned to ASU to study ceramics and to pursue a career in art making ceramic work.
