Willi Bauer was born on July 7, 1923 in a small village in Germany. He is considered to be one of the finest German impressionist painters of the 20th century. Painting in the classic European style and evoking a sense of tranquility and relaxation, Bauer's subjects include flower markets, garden parties, cafes, mountain scenes, and beautiful winter landscapes. Mr. Bauer studied under well known professors in Berlin and Frankfurt. His paintings are in many private collections throughout Europe and the US.
