Karen Jamison currently resides in the beautiful Mississippi countryside. She was born in the mid 1940Â’s. Karen attended college in Texas where she studied art and interior design. After graduating she began her interior design career, becoming very well respected in her chosen field. However, she never lost her love of painting, her mural commissions include both Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus to paint murals. As KarenÂ’s fun, whimsical paintings became more and more popular she decided to take up painting full time and has not looked back since. KarenÂ’s brilliantly colorful paintings jump off the canvas and into the hearts of her faithful following. Her paintings, be they of monkeys dressed as elegant socialites, a beautiful floral, or any number of unique subjects, they always seem to speak to the child in all of us.
