BIOGRAPHY OF EUGENE JEAN (HAITIAN, B.1950) Eugène Jean is a Haitian painter born in Trou du Nord in 1950. Jean typically paints humorous scenes of everyday people in soft colors with a hint of humor. In 1971, he joined the Centre d'art in Haiti and has had several exhibitions in the United States.
