Brandt Berntson lives in beautiful Cache Valley, Utah, where he paints from his home. He was the Art Scholar of his high school and continued his education earning his BFA in painting and drawing from Utah State University as well as a BA in Spanish. In college, he took the opportunity to study abroad in Germany, also visiting; Spain, France, Holland, England and Switzerland and many of their great museums. Brandt is drawn to art that focuses on design, beauty and craft. Plein air painting is one of his favorite ways to work and enjoy the outdoors with fellow artists. Travel and music often influence his artistic ideas. Brandt is easy with a laugh, loves music, playing guitar, concerts, road trips, audio books, hiking and trying new eateries.
