Kathleen is a former professional photographer who shares her time between the midwestern lakes of Illinois and Wisconsin and the ocean waters of the southern Out Banks. For Kathleen, her husband, and their beloved golden retriever, Ranger, as long as there’s water nearby, life is good. Kathleen started painting five years ago and in her usual fashion she jumped in feet first, fully immersing herself in her new found passion. The exuberance and contagious enthusiasm she brings to her art is evident both in her attitude, but also on her canvas, as seen in her bold brush strokes and vivid color palettes, and often with a dash of whimsy.
