Greer Wilkins is based out of Nashville, Tennessee where she is currently pursuing her BFA in Studio Art at Middle Tennessee State University. Her work highlights the unsettling undercurrents of reality. By carefully rendering the forms of her figures, she makes them absolute, even if the space they occupy appears on the edge of reality. Her figures are often positioned in a gentle but sometimes uncomfortable opposition to each other as they are forced to remain together in the limited space of the canvas.
