Originally hailing from New York City, Mr. Rubino relocated to Connecticut with his family in 1985 and subsequently moved to North Carolina in 2013, where he currently resides in the Charlotte area. Among his notable commissions in North Carolina are "Hero" for the Scott Safety Corp. in Monroe, "The Protector" for the Levine Jewish Community Center in Charlotte, and the creation of the "Officer of the Year" award for the Waxhaw Police Department. A Navy veteran, Peter Rubino has contributed three patriotic sculptures, namely "Remembrance," "Reflection," and "Valor," which are prominently displayed at the Waxhaw Military Wall of Honor and Stumptown Park in Matthews, NC. Additionally, he collaborates with the Connecticut Fallen Heroes Foundation, presenting Gold Star Families with a 12-inch replica of "Remembrance" during the foundation's annual tribute ceremony in Hartford, CT.
