Tom is an Atlanta artist and engineer working in steel and wood. His inspiration and starting point are odd artifacts from everyday life, like horseshoes, railroad iron, and tree trunks. After careful consideration (taking hours to decades…) these are turned into heartfelt art. Steel work is arc welded, wire brushed and lacquered. Woodwork is as-found finish, varnished coated or Tung oil dipped. Stone is carefully selected and trimmed to fit the purpose intended.
