Patrick Deshayes is a self-made artist and painter, driven by passion and intuition. Born in Le Mans (France), young Patrick was obsessed not only by race cars, but also by art. He attended classes at the Beaux-Arts Art School.Though art remained his passion, his professional life took him in diverse directions. He served in the business world both as a fashion store owner and in IT after receiving his Degree in Computer Engineering. While working in the business world, Patrick continued to pore over art. Over the years, he built an impressive collection of art books devoted to modern painting, with his favorite artist being Dubuffet. Every trip is an occasion to enrich his collection of art books. In fact, if you were ever to look for Patrick in an unknown city, you could probably find him in the local Museum of Modern Art! Though in his personal life he continued painting both on paper and canvas, he did not feel ready to embark on art as a profession until 2006. It was then that Patrick and his wife moved to New York. There he attended the Art Student league. Since then, he has been immersed in the art scene which has inspired and opened doors for his own art. He spends time exploring museums and art galleries all over the US. Since 2006, Patrick has exhibited his art in galleries and shows around the US including Santa Fe, Miami, Scottsdale, Las Vegas, Fort Lauderdale, Hoboken, as well as internationally in Austria and China.
