Lorne Winters spent 20 years establishing himself as one of Canada's leading commercial artists, painting works that were used for advertising purposes by some of the world's leading corporations; Coca-Cola, Nike and General Motors, to name a few. Throughout that time, Lorne continued to pursue the more personal side of his art career. He found that oils were the medium best suited to his realistic style, allowing him the flexibility and versatility to fully explore his subject matter and realize his personal vision for each piece. " I believe, if you can draw well, you should be able to draw anything. Similarly, if you can paint well, you should be able to paint any subject. My subject matter is determined by what inspires me, what I feel strongly connected with and that which I find beautiful."As a successful full-time painter, Lorne is represented by a number of galleries and participates in international art fairs and other shows. He continues to paint what he loves.
