I discovered something magical when I took my first ceramics class; working with clay is grounding and centering, the labor intensive steps involved in creating ceramic art becomes a meditation in patience and time. Clay is such an amazing medium, both flexible and permanent, sculptural and functional. My work is primarily functional, rooted in classic and ancient designs with a contemporary feel. Blue Cottage Pottery is the work of Daniel Noonan.
