Passioné d'art depuis son enfance, Marc a commencé par créer ses propres bandes dessinées pour ensuite se lancer dans la création d'oeuvres originales à l'huile inspirées du courant surréaliste.Toujours à l'affut de nouvelles techniques, il découvre la peinture chinoise et la calligraphie à travers les œuvres de maîtres, tel que Zao Wou-Ki, Liu Kuo Sung et Chu Teh Chun.Une formation en peinture chinoise l'amène à créér des œuvres originales de multimédia, combinant l'aquarelle, l'aérographe et acrylique.Ses plus récentes œuvres sont le résultat d'une recherche passionnée sur la topographie que l'on retrouve dans la nature, dans le grain du bois, le mouvement de l'eau, les montagnes et de l'espace.Marc is a self taught, mixed media artist.Passionate about art since his youth, Marc began creating his own comic strips at a very young age . He then began exploring and studying oil paintings, creating original works inspired by surrealist art.Always in search of new techniques, he discovered Chinese painting and calligraphy through the works of masters Zao Wou-ki, Liu Kuo Sung and Chu Teh Chun. A Chinese painting class impressed him with the fluidity and movement of ink. This led to the creation of unique pieces using these ink techniques which he combined with his love of bold acrylic colour, airbrush and watercolour.His most recent works reflect the accumulation of a lifetime of passion and study combined with new inspirations. He is captivated by the lines found in nature: wood grains, water movement, earth and space topography.
