Christina Craemer is a Los Angeles-based "digital painter" whose large-scale photographs of abstracted water, landscape and sky are meant to immerse the viewer into a state of serenity and calm. While she received high degrees in Structural Engineering, Architecture, and Interior Design, Craemer's greatest passion is her photography. However, her expansive knowledge on these subjects informs the direction she takes with her art. For 20 years, Christina has focused her photography on exploring the relationship between the order in nature and how it applies to architectural forms. Her goal has been to seek ways in which to incorporate the calming effects she observes in nature into her architectural and interior design aesthetic, as well as embracing these natural forms and expressing them as fine art.
