Harry Moody, a Los Angeles-based abstract painter, received his formal art training at the Frankfurt Stadel Fine Art Academy in Germany where he studied Free Painting under the professors Thomas Bayrle, Josef Beuys, and Johannes Schreiter. It was at the Stradel Academy that Harry Moody became introduced to the German visual artist Gerhard Richter, who eventually became a great influence on Moody's own artistic direction. Throughout his professional life, Harry Moody has pursued a dialogue concerning art ideals and the necessity to express oneself artistically. He has exhibited at the Stadel Museum in Frankfurt, and the Landes Museum in Wiesbaden, Germany. Recently, Art on Fashion®, a cutting edge clothing line based in Ireland, showcased a design for a dress based on one of Moody's paintings.
