Carol Chapman defies typecasting. A graduate of Smith College, she also studied at the Art Students League in New York. For nearly five decades Chapman has been a successful portrait, landscape and abstract painter working in oils, pastels and watercolors, as well as a sculptor of steel and bronze. This versatile artist’s stylistic signatures are color and space.
