Denise Fiedler brings a new take to the art of collage with her use of vintage, hand-painted book pages, her own hand-painted textures, and other creative use of paper in her whimsical original compositions. Fiedler's company, Paste, started as an art collage business and has grown to include stationery items and art prints as well as custom works by commission. Before Paste, Denise spent 18 years with her first venture, Bravura. There she designed and manufactured textile home and fashion accessories and sold to specialty boutiques. After being commissioned to make collages for the dress and shoe salons of Marshall Field and Co (now Macy’s), she decided to shift her focus from textiles to paper. Her cut and sew became cut and paste.
