Don Kaiser is a woodturner from Fredericksburg, Texas. Initially, turning was a hobby when he was living in Houston, Texas in the 1980’s. After relocating to Utopia, Texas in 1996, he joined the newly-formed Hill Country Turners in Kerrville, Texas. Don owned and ran a successful mechanic shop while continuing to improve his turning skills. In 2016, he sold the shop, retired from mechanic work and now concentrates on woodturning full time. He moved to Fredericksburg in 2019, built a new shop and continues to improve and refine his skills.
