Carmine received a BFA from Parsons School of Design in the 70’s and studied Fine Art at Adelphi University and Architecture at Oklahoma State University. For past 40 years Carmine has moved between the Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate and Art worlds. He’s held executive management positions at Shearson Lehman Brothers, Citibank and Willis Group. While at Willis, living mostly in London, he managed the completion of the Willis Building which won several coveted architectural awards. In addition, for over nine years he taught drawing and design at Parsons and several other colleges. In 2013 Carmine decided to refocus on his first love – Art. After opening a studio for brief time in Chinatown New York he relocated to Florida, where he works today. Carmine's work has evolved from controlled Pollock like abstracts to images of flags & hearts. All controlled by the masked tight line. The evolution continues with the deconstruction of the line (and tape) with the creation of the portrait, and now comes the duckies..........
