Haitian artist Osmin Christophe was born on December 23, 1935 in Grand-Goave. After primary school at Lycée Faust, he began to work in ironwork. Even though successful in this, he switched to painting in 1969 and was helped by Georges Nader, Dieudonne Cedor, and Ernst Louizor.
