"I am Australian born with strong Hungarian heritage. I have been painting professionally for 17 years. I grew up in Melbourne literally across the road from the Yarra River. My paintings are strongly influenced by the river and the bush, they were my backyard. I am also inspired by volcanoes. icebergs, bushfires, beautifully layered landscapes, lakes, rivers and the ocean. I work in oils using real ground bronze in some of my paintings. I mix it with a special medium to create liquid bronze which some assume is gold paint!I take great pleasure in running workshops and demo’s and sharing my professional knowledge during these events gives me enormous satisfaction. I am grateful to the Artist Societies for their invitations. I have also taught contemporary painting for over 10 years. Additionally, I have worked with many developers and architects in Melbourne creating artwork for Epworth Hospital, commercials buildings, residential complexes, Country Road Aust Head Office, Radisson Hotel Melbourne and professional suites. I was also a finalist in the Sunshine Coast Art prize in 2014 – being selected from over 400 artists."
