JEFF REVLETT-ARTIST BIO Jeff Revlett (b. 1967) is the gallery owner of Revelry Fine Arts and an abstract artist living in Nashville, Tennessee.Jeff is a self-taught artist who has always had a love for the arts. He considers himself a non-objective artist who is inspired by color. He began creating art in his middle 40s when he found himself in an empty apartment with walls that needed to be filled. He sold his first abstract to a friend and hasn’t stopped creating. His works are inspired by renowned artists Mark Rothko, Jasper Johns and Gerhard Rictor as he creates vibrant works on canvas that are bold, yet simple. Jeff believes that color can change your emotion, and he enjoys using bright hues in his creations. He finishes most of his works with a high-gloss resin which adds more life to his pieces. It was always a desire to own a gallery, and Jeff had the opportunity in late 2023 to acquire and existing gallery in the Berry Hill, TN neighborhood…After a quick consideration, Revelry Fine Arts was founded and opened its doors on January 2nd, 2024. Jeff is loving this chapter of his life and enjoying being surrounded by so many talented artists daily. His goal is to get as many people as possible addicted to collecting art and filling their homes with an eclectic mix of works.
