The Haitian artist Michel Obin, who was born in Cap-Haitian in 1950, Télémaque Obin's son and the grandson of the late famous Haitian painter Sénéque Obin. He started painting in 1969. His art is characterized by the two-dimensional and primitive style of the Cap-Haitian School.
