Yilan Wilcox studied and worked in Berlin, Germany and lives in Hawaiʻi. She is inspired by the raw power of Hawaiian wind and water. Her paintings capture moments of human interaction with these forces. Her use of color and form reflect the emotional aspect of this interaction. All paintings are acrylic.
