My first interest and love of art came while I attended school at Catlin Gabel in Portland, Oregon. Since then, I have schooled, studied art and design, spent 12 years as a graphic artist, and have 20 years' experience as a professionally trained architectural finish applicator. I have been creating art pieces since 2015. I have always had a passion for beautifying the spaces where we spend our lives and time making those areas feel more comfortable. I feel if you love your surroundings you are more productive in life. I now create art on wood panels with acrylic textures and resins. This allows for a much stronger composition between colors and layers. I am intrigued by the interaction of texture, sheen and organic shapes. Creating my art is a process that evolves with each piece. Everyday life is planned and structured, so when I create art I allow it to develop gradually and organically. I am proficient with large compositions and enjoy the freedom and range that working on larger scale pieces offers me. My art works well in both residential and commercial spaces.
