Thomas Stenquist is a sculptor from Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. He received a BFA in sculpture from Maine College of Art in ’85, and for the last three decades has explored various visual mediums as well as poetry and music. For the past 15 years his focus has been on metal sculpture. Found and discarded metals are hammered flat, cut, bent, and twisted into abstract forms. Tom has had multiple gallery showings throughout New England and has works in many private collections. He is happiest when working in his studio.
